A switch is a mechanically operated circuit interruption device.

a relay is a switch (or multiple switches in the same frame) that is operated by an electromagnet that is engaged/disengaged by an external electrical circuit.

a contactor is nothing more than a relay with high power contacts for operating large loads. functionally they are the same.

a circuit breaker is a special type of switch that opens when an overload condition occurs. this may be through magnetic, thermal, or a combination of means.
