Hi guys,

IS IT OK TO RUN 120V CABLES ALONG WITH 600V CABLES WITHIN THE SAME CABLE TRAY???

You are running into HV and LV issues there. You need to check with you national and local requirements/code for guidance.

Sorry. In DoD 600V is the cutoff for what is considered HV. I was referring to interior wiring.

There are different guidelines that you have to study (eg fill area, supports etc) however NEC does allow 600V or less cables to be routed through the same tray so for you, though on the border, it is still OK.

Per NEC, it is allowed. Here is the quote from NEC:

392.6 (E): "Multiconductor cables rated 600 volts or less shall be permitted to be installed in the same cable tray".

392.6 (F)(2): "The cables rated over 600 volts are separated from the cables rated 600 volts or less by a solid fixed barrier of a material compatible with the cable tray".

Yes! As long as you maintain a clearance of at least 300mm between the two cables.

<Assuming here that you are in the US because you are referencing 120VAC>

IIRC, the NEC will require that all of them must have the same insulation level and at the highest voltage in the tray / raceway. So when you run the 120V circuits, you must use wire that says 600V (or more) on the insulation. Most of the time that will be the case, i.e. THHN or THWN etc, but some appliance wire and "bell wire" is only rated for 300V, you cannot use that if it's in the same tray. The exception (sort of) is multi-conductor signal cables, but even then the outer jacket must be rated for the highest voltage in the tray. If you use conductors that say "TC" or "Tray Rated", that will have a 600V jacket.
