Inverter

09/06/2011 3:50 AM

In an inverter specification it is given as 48 volts battery input and ac output of (0....32V)*3, does this means that the output if 32Volt, is a Phase voltage otherwise a line voltage? What will the power equation at the output?

32V 3-phase is unusual. Is this correct?

Please give the make & model number of the inverter, and if possible a link to the datasheet.

In an inverter specification they have given input battery voltage of 48V and output peak current of 200A (rms), then how do we know the output voltage delivered?

We don't. Unless we read the datasheet.

If the datasheet is available on line, you can just post a link here (then we can all access it).

Failing that, post the manufacturer's name and the inverter model number.

I'd rather keep my e-mail address private (unless there's no other alternative).

The output voltage must me line voltage. RMS or active or effective value of AC is nothing but line voltage/Current. Peak value is 1.414xRMS.

Re: Inverter

my inverter has an output rating of 150 A nominal value and maximum of 400A having a battery input of 48V , the motor takes a full load current of 105 A, if the starting current is 4 times of 105 ie. 420A then should be the fuse rating be of 400A, and where should i place it, after the inverter or before it ie. after the battery from where it draws?

It still depends on the wiring.
