PID tunning

How is PID tunning for a control valve??..

please explain in stepwise

Not familiar with Stepwise, but a tip to learn how to tune more reliable PID (more stable, have to tune less often), see the PID Tuning Blueprint.

Tuning a PID controller involves setting the proportional (P), integral (I) and derivative (D) values to get the best possible control for a particular process. Tuning can be done using trial and error method or some specific algorithm such as Ziegler-Nicholas, Tyreus-Luyben and Cohen-Coon method etc.

Here is another great free resource http://www.controlguru.com/pages/table.html Via Control Stations. While working with their pres (Dennis Nash) hosting their training seminars years ago, I got to know their expertise pretty well. (I never met anyone more knowledgeable about PID than his people.)
