Yes if you don't mind getting wet.

A wave can be a very powerful gesture.

This should do the trick... plenty of power.

Mechanical power transmission systems like belt drive, chain drive, magnadrive or gearing ect. require a power source like electric motor or IC engine to connect a driven machine. Electric power is transmitted through cables.

Here, it is not clear which power you want to transmit using waves as a medium. What is the source and which machine/ system is to be driven?

No.

You can transmit energy through waves, but you cannot transmit the rate at which that energy is converted (i.e., power) through waves.

What kind of waves?

Light, heat, water, air, hand, radio/electromagnetic, or amber grain?

If solar energy(light/heat/IR/UV etc) can reach earth why can't we transmit electricity too. Recently Germans have made a device for charging EV battery without using a cord

from a wall mounted charger.

Of course we can, it's just a silly idea, for all the reasons which have been explaiened many times in many almost identical threads.
And I believe the EV charger is V short range induction, hardly what is commonly meant by 'waves'

Air cored transformers tend to be not very efficient - they are sort of thing that is 'forgivable' for electric tooth brush charging.

But what does it matter if your electric car is hooked up even less efficiently to the coal fired power station?

are'nt "waves" by definition refer to power being broadcast from another source of power?
