steam turbine is tripping on low control oil pressure of governing system .what may be the reason

Wrong setting of an oil pressure regulator somewhere.
Wear in the oil pump, so that it cannot produce adequate pressure and/or flow.
Significant oil leak(s).
Plugged filter, blocked piping, or some valve partially closed.
Etc.

The reason is that the control oil pressure is lower than the setting on the trip device.
