Recently Airtel transmisson(mobile trnsmission) tower was installed in our neibourhood. Please let me know whether it is health hazard due to radiation.

Why? It doesn't matter what anyone says; those who believe otherwise will ignore or discount whatever is said.

Do you use a cell phone, have a microwave oven? If so the health hazard from those is most likely are greater as the closer proximity to your body. You going to give them up too? Or not place yourself in close proximity to them. Good luck with that they are every where.

It's like lead paint until a lot children start to show signs of illness. Some doctors research the cause. Come up with conclusive evidence that microwaves are the cause. Then nothing will be done too much money to be made.

Radio frequency radiation has less energy per photon than the light entering your eye right now so you can read my reply. Radio frequency photons are non-ionizing radiation. Many will bring up the "red herring" point about microwave ovens. The radio frequency used in a microwave oven is chosen to maximize the heating of water. Because water absorbs the energy of this frequency so well, it is a lousy frequency to use for communication. This frequency is not being transmitted by this tower.

There is no health hazard from the radiation emanating from this tower.

Yeah, Lyn, a hot babe in a foil hat would make me forget my worries, too. She doesn't really need the foil hat......

Usually people think of more radiation near to antenna. The harmful effects of radiation is little far from antenna.

Fresnel region the region in space around an antenna at which the fields have both transverse and radial components and the antenna pattern is dependent on the distance from the antenna. The Fresnel, or near-field, region is typically taken to be r < 2D2/λ, where r is the distance from the antenna, D is the maximum dimension of the antenna, and λ is the wavelength.

Calculate it for Airtel, i don't know the diameter of the antenna they use.

If the antenna tower was not properly engineered and installed, there is a greater health risk from it falling on you than from any radiation it might emit...

Short answer, no. The only real proven hazard is to your land values.

You may have spoilt your question using the word radiation.

Your answers say that there is no danger from radiation, but I read that looking into perceived increases in poor health in areas where these masts had been erected discovered larger concentrations of atmospheric pollutants. The theory is they are drawn there by an effect of the mast.

Anyone comment on this?

on the subject of microwaves, I also read, possibly on CR4, about a microwave engineer who never knew if his microwave meter was working because he never got a reading from a microwave cooker, but would test it with his mobile, when it went mad.
