If the 365 days of guarantee period expire
before completion of 8000 hours of operation, the guarantee shall apply to the actual
hours of operation proportionately.
Would say if your xxxx last for say 10000 hours before it broke you enjoyed an additional 2000 hours already and may be required to pay 25% of the repair or replacement cost.

I agree with you Mark. The OP would have the equipment running 22 hours a day to exceed the 8000 hours of operation portion of the the warranty.
8,000hours ÷ 365days = 21.917hours of operation per day. So anything less than 21.92hours a day operation then the 365 day portion of warranty, is the end of coverage.
Or if the equipment ran 22 hours a day would be, 365 days x 22hours = 8030hours then the warranty would expire on, (8030hours ÷ 24hours a day) = 334th day of the calender year.
