I have a potentiometer w/part# 1000-13-050R 0452 for which I am trying to figure out the manufacturer. I have been all over the web and cannot find it...Does anyone recognize the# or the mfg part# scheme?
Why do you need to know who manufactured it? Wouldnt just knowing the turns and resistive limits be enough, then you can order more of the same spec from another company?
I have some pots with similar part numbers. I bought them from Jameco. I checked the jameco website (jameco.com) and these numbers no longer match any of their products. They may be able to help you if you contact them. Jameco contracts the manufacture of passive components so these may be one offs.
Contact a pot manufacturer... Allen Bradley comes to mind. Best case, they might be able to come up with an equivalent... or... they might be able to tell you the manufacturer of the original part.
Go to Digi-key's web page and see if they can find the pot given the manufacturers part number. If it is currently manufactured, they might have it in their data base. If nothing else, they would give you other pot manufacturers to research.
The above are only ideas that I would follow if in your situation. No Guarantees.
