during auto change over from dg to electricity board, can we use neutral of dg for electricity board or neutral of electricity board for dg for a moment.

a fraction of second ( less than 1/50 sec ), so that single phase equipment's neutral remains connected during change over period.

I just now re-read your question. DG neutral for EB & EB Neutral for DG??? It won't work out. You would be violating Kirchoff's Law. The current has to return to its own source.

Do you really need to switch the neutral? It is simpler just to leave the neutrals connected if you have the generator neutral connected properly.

Dear experts, I have used Asco make 4 pole , 440 volt, auto transfer switches for switching my 1800 kva Dg set and 1800 kva transfomer power. This was my old project in Viviana mall, thane, maharastr and this is working fine
