S7 200 Communication

Dear all

I am using Siemens S7200 PLC 224Xp processer

I have a problem for communication using Rs485 Communication

What I need is to communicate the 2 224Xp processer

I need following help

1) RS 485 pin out for cross link cable

2) if someone have simple recipe for communication

I need to send two type of data

1) bit ( M100.1 motor fault)

2) data word ( RPM :- 1455)

Please help

It is actually RTFM if you watch very closely.

(The trick is to make sure that the conputer screen does not move when you are reading. Maybe it is better to have the beer afterward?)

Anyway, it means ... "Read The ________ Manual"

The missing letter implies that the manual is indulging in some naughty but natural calisthenics. You should wait for it to finish and then READ it.

Also, don't forget to read the Siemens application data sheets available off their website for further assistance (sometimes not everything is in the _____ Manual).
