Operation of Four Rope Clamshell Grab

how the four rope clamshell grab is working. i need to verify how these four ropes operate open/close, up/ down and travel forward back ward. please let me know how can i find videos or notes about this operation

Haven't operated a clamshell in over 20 years. I can do it in my sleep and show you what levers to pull/push but don't ask me to be able to tell you. An experienced operator works by feel. Check with a manufacturer on what cable does what.
