Hydraulic Oil

Sir,

I have a 200 Ltr drum of hydraulic oil (Servo VG-68 ) since last 2 years & i have a need to fill it in my molding m/c, can it be use. It was brand new that time, if no....please define.

I think it's going to work fine,But my suggestion is don't go by my words. best way is to ask the manufacture or look on the manufacture packaging exp Date if there is any.

Its not good to put your RS20000.00 on bet against a RS2.00 Phone call or a 50paisa email to company.

Normally hydraulic oil do not get deriorated in 2 years of storage if contamination is not there. Depending on the storage of container, if any thing has entered in the oil, it should be made good by centrifuge and filtering.

Suggestion to confirm from manufacturer is still valid and really do not cost much.

If the seals are not opened and intact, the hydraulic oil can be used.

However pl. consult the Manufacturer/his Authorized Agent.

The used hydraulic oil could bee purified by a vacuum filtration machine, remove the water and gas,impurities. They do this for couple of years.
