Gas Leak Detector

02/02/2012 9:46 PM

I am planning to install gas leak detector for my LPG gas bank as a safety requirement. What are the factors I should consider before I go ahead with the leak detector and also suggest me the right product which I should have installed.

The best gas leak detector is a hydraulic test to a pressure above the normal operating pressure of the system, and a Permit-to-Work system that embraces Risk Assessment/Method Statement documentation before any new work starts.
