We are giving 4 bar to 6 bar pressure to control valve actuator and line pressure is 60 bar. Then how the pneumatic control valve operating in line ?

Can be done two ways.

1. Same principle as hydraulics is used.

2. Pressure differential valve is used.

You'd usually use something in the 'balanced piston' category (which are independent of line pressure)

Carry out a force balance on the moving parts of the valve. All will become clear.
