The first thing is to start ringing local companies and find out whether they can do it.

Kinda like buying a 100 foot boat. If you have to ask how much it costs, you can't afford it.

As PW said, have a competent motor re-builder do it. If you've never done it before you are guaranteed to fail.

If the earlier motor windings were burned badly check laminations and if not good go for a new motor.
