That's what we used to call Jerry Berg in the 5th grade

It was a new word somebody in class picked up so we used it until we discovered a new word to torment each other with.

FEA means Finite Element Analysis. FEM means Finite Element Method. FEM is a way (method) to effect FEA. Seems simple enough to me. Can you Google, knucklehead?

Normally you can say FEA is done by FEM. Means finite element analysis of any structural or fluid problem can be done by Finite element method which is nothing but a numerical method to solve approximately the physics involved in problem. ANSYS use FEM for FEA.
