Why the Tires of the Tractor are big on the rear end?

Larger tires means more surface area which means more power transmitted to the ground so the tractor can pull more load. The larger tires don't sink into the soil as much.

On a 2 wheel drive the back wheels are for traction and filled with water to increase downward force.

Big front wheels will increase resistance and fuel consumption.

the main reason of this lies this on the tracts of the tractors. As main utilization is agriculture and gardening the surface may not be perfect so your vehicle must resist to pull of to one side. for this purpose of controlling tires are made large
