Two things:

1. About Web Search - Learn How To Search The Web

After you master #1, you will be able to find information without waitiing for help, such as: 2. Calculators for pipe diameter, flow rate, pressure drop ...

lesson #3

In Piping Fittings there is no such thing as an "increaser".

A Reducer is used to change a pipe line from a larger size to a smaller size and to change a smaller size to a larger size.

But, but, will the fluid know it can flow the wrong way through a reducer????

Won't it be confused, incoherent, or downright insane?

The pressure upstream of a reducer will be somewhat greater than downstream.
The flow upstream and downstream will be the same.
The velocity will be inversely proportional to the areas of the upstream and downstream pipes.

I repeat!

A "Reducer" is used to change a pipe line from a larger size to a smaller size or to change a smaller size to a larger size.

It is just that simple, don't try to make it complicated.
