If any HT lead is earthed, then that cylinder won't fire, and the engine will run rough at much reduced power.

It is often a good idea to not use undefined acronyms or abbreviations (HT) when asking a fundamental question. I am certain that Hersha Hospitality Trust (HT) and the Hindustan Times frequently send communications to their clients but using the term cable for modern communication does seem a bit arcane for both their grounded and ethereal members.

I realize that anyone not already knowing the meaning of a term may not be certain what an abbreviation actually means. Please show us a little effort on your part and provide these cables some context.

From the scant information you've provided, the only correct answer is the difference is the prefix "un".

Obviously, Earthed for such application, Unearthed for such applications. Any questions? The difference is that they are built for their applications. Any questions?

Buddy, as thousands before are forced to learn, stupid or careless questions results in fitting answers. Try again, but with well crafted questions. Otherwise you are fired!!

What is the application?

Are you talking about underground HT cables, HT cables in CRT, HT of a Klystron/travelling wave tube, HT of another vacuum device, HT of your tesla coil, or the HT leads of a gasoline engine?

Well, what is it?

How will you use this information?
