UPS Location

Hello,

I just need to know please if a UPS of 80 KVA is allowed to be placed on the wall or a seperation distance to the wall is required by any code?

It depends on the manufacturer's design as to where the hot items are. The installation manual should specify any clearances, if necessary.

And it also depends on the codes in the locality, and the construction of the wall - CMU, precast, plywood, drywall, steel bulkhead, igloo...

To provide much more of an answer to the OP we need a lot more information.

OP - for practicality, there are lots of UPS equipment racks that are mounted directly to walls. These racks are usually ventilated. I am not familiar with any stand-alone UPS devices that would necessitate direct-to-wall mounting. Could you not install a shelf and leave ventilation space on all sides of the unit?

Any 80kVA UPS i can think of will be too heavy to mount on a wall.

Beyond that, as mentioned by Tornado, clearance will be determined by the Vendors installation manual and\or your cable routing to the batteries and the supply\load cables.
