Or search Digikey through GlobalSpec!

Note: not another link to GlobalSpec, that one actually brings you to Digikey's catalog on the GlobalSpec site. It'll be easy to narrow down what you want by spec from there (probably) Or you can just start fresh at any of the listed GlobalSpec hyperlinks before this and search from there!

It depends on the component and industry as many databases exist but are generally either too general (like an electronic data sheet or general electronic component manufacturer database) or just what you are asking for in a parameter-based search engine but restricted to a specific supplier or manufacturer.

Google search works really well as long as you put in enough relevant data (try it and experiment, you may be quite surprised).

What exactly are you looking for.

as business development manager for a metal stamping company I can tell you that it isn't that easy to "google" a specific component with dimensions - unless it is such a simple part as a common fastener or a catalog item - you probably just have to find the type of company that manufactures your specific component and go through the paces of sending a print including material type, if it needs a coating or to be heat treated...if you are looking for a metal stamped component please contact us at ptmcorporation.com and we'll be glad to assist you - thanks Kris Jacobs 586-725-2211 ext 2147 -
