It isn't possible to say as it cannot be seen from here.

Hmmmm, a machine that can synchronize the weather!! I think it depends on the country of origin. If it was made in England, it would be biased towards rain so I would say it is not neutral point based because if it was, the weather would be not too wet or not too sunny, but just right and also it would be able to be set so that it only rains mid week and not at the weekends, bank holidays, or when you put your washing out! Now if that machine was made in Spain, it would be biased towards sunny, so once again, it's neutral point would not be exactly neutral! Also the setting for Spain would include maybe a bit of rain down in the south when there are long hot summers to just clean the air a bit, but as you may or may not know, this setting has not been factory set to do this function! So my conclusion on this question is who knows, maybe you need to ask a Weather synchronizer!!

Post: Weather synchronous machine(motor or generator) having neutral point or not?

Translation: Whilst enjoying my elevenses, I wondered aloud as to whether or not a synchronous motor would have a neutral (grounded) conductor. This was a most curious question to ponder, so after a short nap my thought was to pose the question to the lovely gentlefolk on the CR4 forum. What say you, noble lords and ladies?

If it a single phase machine then yes. If its a 3 phase machine where the currents in all phases are balanced there would be no current to flow in the neutral conductor - you would not need it.

Depends on the connection of the windings. If star connected then YES and if delta connected then NO.
