Long Running Hours Diesel Engine

what must i do if i have a plan to make a diesel engine can work 1000Hours with no stop the engine.... is this possible ???

if possible, what must i do ???

this diesel engine for diesel generator at remote area purpose.

That makes it running, continuously for 42 days. Surely doable. It depends on your abilities, infrastructure & so many, many, ---other things. Good luck! You are welcome to re-invent the wheel. God be with you!

Well first I would consider the size of the fuel tank. Next I would consider why you will need to be away from civilization for as much as 42 days and seriously reconsider the situation. I would particularly wonder if 42 days is enough time and if you really need to run a diesel engine all of that time. Isolating yourself from civilization is so much easier when you don't use any of the comforts of civilization.

The most important issue will be oil treatment. A centrifuge or special filtration system can help there; an extra-large oil sump can also help.

The fuel injection system must be of a kind that does not require frequent adjustment. Bosch type probably good; camshaft-driven unit injectors probably bad.

Make your fuel tank large enough, or at least able to be replenished with no engine interruption.

When they say "continuously rated",according to codes/rules/regulations, how many hours an engine/alternator/motor/transformer/compressor can run continuously?.

yes you can ,if your engine is in good condition specially the head gasket and valves(not over heating ) and having a efficient cooling system and fuel injection pump.

just you have to maintain the fuel and the normal checkup of lubricant and temperature.

Dear Friend, For your question the Answer is YES.

But you, have to take steps, like to fill up- diesel in the fuel tank, while in operation, replenish Engine oil for every 200 Hours. Better you have two Air-Filter in parallel etc.

Condition monitoring including oil conditioning/filtering,lubrication,heat removal or reducing load if overheating occurs,duplication some parts etc might help
