Most major manufacturers have charts that give these ratings. The amp ratings will vary by manufacturer.

Search GlobalSpec for wire sizing charts.

Hi It may help you

VD= 2*K*I*L/ CSA WHERE: VD= VOLTAGE DROP I= CURRENT L= DISTANCE OF THE LOAD FROM THE OUTLET (IN FT) K= 12 FOR COPPER AND 19 ALUMINUM (FOR MAXIMUM TEMP OF 75 DC) CSA= CONDUCTOR CROSS SECTIONAL AREA IN CIRCULAR MILS.

MV =(VD*1000)/L*I L =length of cable I = Current rating I = P/(1.73*v*Pf) MV = Milli Voltage Drop/Amp/meter OR VD = L * I * MV/1000 Voltage Drop = I X D (r X 0.85 + Xc X 0.53)/No. of runs X 1000 I : Current D : Distance r : Resistance Xc : Capacitive reactance

It depends upon the installation method and the de-rating requirements for similar cables running parallel.

Buying a copy of British Standard 7671 and studying it would be a worthwhile investment.
