Measure Building Resistance

HI ALL

We have a big building.there is a ring around the building as earthing system.

we put bare cooper wire in trench around building .

NOW,we are going to measure the resistance of earthing system with earth tester. Our device is MI 2124 ,one production of METREL .

how I can measure the resistance of big earthing system? can I use MI 2124 for this purpose?

What does the manual say? Is there a qualified electrician who can interpret it?

unfortunately ,the manual has lost. I am electrician but I have not manual.

  1. Telephone the equipment supplier and get a replacement manual.
  2. Find somewhere where the manual will be secure and available, and keep it there.

Measure the resistance between it and an even bigger earthing system.

(Or purchase a Universal Zero-Ohm Earth Electrode from LynDoor Industries™)

please describe clearly . I can't understand your mean.

we have a big earth system and we want measure its resistance. obviously , we can't use fall of potential (62% method) directly.

But the goal manual (MI 2124) doesn't be there , Even there isn't on METREL site! :(
