Explosion (or I/S) Proof Flow Totalizer Needed

10/15/2012 6:13 PM

Can anyone recommend a Flow Totalizer with: - 10 Key Keypad - Analog (or pulse) input from flow meter - Digital Output for Solenoid - Digital Input for Local Estop - Digital Input for Local "Start" HART of Foundation Fieldbus comm to set Set-point and Read Data Remotely. The Microm-tion 3700 comes close, but it is CL1 Div2, Others are Modbus, which is a pain to communicate with from DeltaV

The requirements sound like a wish list. I don't know who has a HART or FF totalizer/batcher, but the market's big and varied.

If the requirement for a remote fieldbus setpoint (preset) falls by the wayside, the PD8 series comes in EXP housing and has through-the-glass touch setup. Analog or pulse, depends on model.

I have one setup using an Elite sensor & the Altus controller. Is that the same as the 3700? It works very well using the Micromotion solenoid which I believe meets your requirements.

What is the fluid, its temperature and its pressure? What is the line size?

I am using a Micromotion FT, It is the totalizer / batching I was needing. I need to replace a bunch of these:

Well, there are plenty of phone numbers in the contact list elsewhere on the site. Why is there no response from them?
