Heater Drain Lines

High Pressure heater in the Feed water Line is under IBR.

Now, what about the applicablity of Drain Line from the High Pressure Heater connected to Deaerator. Does this Drain line to be considerred under IBR?

It depends upon what the term IBR means in that part of the world.

Inverted Box Rib a type of roof. I would think the whole system would be under some type of roof. I guess he has the IBR roof type.

Obviously,Above Pressure 3 Kg IBR NORMS are applied and This is HP Heater.

Now, Check that Deaerator comes under IBR

If Deaerator is not under IBR Then IBR scope will be up to isolation valve on Heater Drain Line.

Or

Deaerator comes under IBr Then Drain line comes under IBR norms.

Applicability of drain line that if there is excess of water during operation which is then drain out from Heater. Insted of draining this water this can be used in deaerator as this water have more temperature than water coming in the deaerator from Dm tanks

which atomatically increase the effieincy of Hp Heater.
