About Diesel Generators

can any one tell me the complete tests or list the names of tests of diesel generator above 750KVA when it is repaired?? or any references

  • no load test
  • short circuit test
  • temperature rise at full load
  • over speed test
  • calculation of efficiency
  • phase sequence
  • insulation of bearings pedistals
  • waveform & harmonics analysis
  • determination of reactances etc.

Dear Mr.sharjeel,

MOTORING TEST for the Engine and measure the Pressure inside the cylinder, with out injecting fuel in to the cylinder, which is one of the essentials for deciding the Compression Ratio and its limits and there by Efficiency of the Engine.
