Heat Exchanger

The Heat Exchanger that use Methanol in Hot Side and Water in Cold Side is use on what purpose?

I knew that!! transfer from hot to cold...i mean using that media (methanol & water) are usually use for what application ma'm....!!!! Yeah!!! Neva mind!!

Cooling the methanol and heating the water simultaneously is one possibility, though it's a bit difficult to see from here.

Nope. It's still too difficult to see the process from here. Maybe a P&ID and a local Process Engineer can help, perhaps?

Not nearly as interesting a purpose as the Heat exchanger that uses Ethanol in Hot Side & Water in Cold Side!

Seriously, it's whatever it was spec'd for, & from here we can't tell if it's a condenser or a plate type unit or....
