1. The alarm system lets the operators know when operating parameters are outside their normal range.

2. Alarm list doc. is a record of the information on all (hopefully) alarm points, used by design, installation, maintenance, and operation personnel.

New to the field, are you? Hopefully, this forum is not your only source of mentoring.
