CR4's Threading Model Appears to be Broken on Android Devices

01/30/2013 3:00 AM

Replies to posts no longer associate under the parent post but appear instead to be randomly placed elsewhere in the thread and fully left-justified regardless of the nesting level. Also, window content no longer conforms to the viewable area but stretches off to the right about ten window widths. Lastly, the OP's initial post is cramped with little adverts along the left border. Anyone else seeing this?

That differs from observations from here.

I don't see Kevin Bacon anywhere on that diagram. Are you hiding something?

So you think his real name is Brent Spiner, huh? Boy has he got you fooled. Just look at that word 'data' - plural, isn't it? Daz right, Bubba, more than one.

Data? Nah, Datum. Next time you see (ahem) Mister Brent Spiner, tell him his jig's up, but pack a phaser just in case, set to 'Stun'. You don't want to hurt the bugger. Nice bloke..er..cyberwhatchamacallit, even if he is possessed by a daemon.

And, by the way, I looked-up Datum's geneology. Here's what the Wiki says:

"A daemon is usually created by a process forking a child process and then immediately exiting, thus causing init to adopt the child process."

Hit it 'n' quit it.

What browser?

Mine looks OK on the un-named browser that came with the Samsung, Opera Mini and Chrome.

Mine's an HTC EVO 4G that talks to itself.

Unnamed browser also. (I'm writing from my 'puter, btw)

Not seeing like that on my phone. Is it all of the threads? Sometimes if someone puts in a really large image or long link it can make a page look funny.

All of them, but only on my not-so-smartphone. Evidently something has changed on my EVO.

The last time I was forced to use my Android to view CR4 everything looked OK to me.

I am so glad I don't chase the Gs.

I like the twist in the title, it is CR4 that is broken because it doesn't show properly on the Android. It reminds me of a joke, but it might be too un-PC for the nannies.

A shot in the dark here, have you tried restarting your phone?
