Question Regarding Fault Current

What are the consequences for the fault current in 11 kv distribution if two transformer 66Kv/11Kv , 40Mva are running in parallel ?

Also any remedies to reduce fault current.

Fault current stops when circuit protective devices operate.

Unpleasant, expensive and potentially jail-worthy.

Also any remedies to reduce fault current.

I find a fuse or circuit breaker helps to limit fault current, backed up by a degree in engineering specialising in industrial transmission and distribution and selected after performing a fault current analysis of the system in question.

Seriously thou, this is a theoretical or homework question right?

Is the distribution system sized to withstand a fault with both transformers connected.

If the board isn't large enough to withstand the fault then you can make sure both transformers are not locked in at the same time with a set of Castell or similar locks.

The fault can be limited by fuses or a reactor.

You are asking a big question with very little information.
