Elevation of Instrument

Dear All

We have installed instrument with stanchion close to precess pipe any criteria for the distance between intrument to process pipe connrection point.

Please advise

Yes, there is criteria.

It depends on the instrument and its function.

OK, so how did this instrument get installed without reference to the manufacturer's instructions contained in the manual that came with it, and why post, when the manual surely must be available for reference? If it isn't then how did the telephone call to the instrument manufacturer's technical helpline go, and when will the replacement manual be to hand?

Dear All

Elevation of the instrument depend on the process medium,

Gas services - Tx Install above the precess connection

Liquid services - Tx install below the process connection.

Steam/vapor - Tx Install below the process connection
