VoIP/Voice over Internet Protocol

You are wanting to send video too.

Try this, should be something to get you going:

Just Google VoIP, it will keep you reading for days. 99.9% of the time everyone should type their questions (about ANYTHING) into a search engine. Google, Yahoo, Dogpile, Ask, Answers, all of which are .com ... there are thousands of search engines, use a few, find your favorite (the one that finds the type of answers you are usually looking for). Enjoy the billions of websites!!

If the camcorder has the ability to connect directly with your computer to be used as a webcam then its easy...

Jusr connect it and use it, use Sykpe or msn to get you started, both are free and include VOIP communications and setting up procedures.

A USB webcam is the easiest to implement and requires no software except for what's supplied with Skype msn or free....

I use several different types of cameras, the USB ones are okay but for high quality get a good TV /Video card with composite in from a decent camera and / or a set top box and you can record what you like to hard drive as well as use the camera for VOIP applications.
