I am trying to heat a 30 x 30 room in an insulated barn. I'm using an electric garage furnace and don't know the air flow possibilities. I would like to know which would be better, a 4" or 6" insulated corrigated heating tube on a 25 foot run? I have an 8 x 20 heat opening coming from the furnace duct. Would it be better to do a trunk line for the 25 ft and then have 4 or 6" tubes coming off of that or devise four separate trunk lines of the 4 or 6" tubes, two going 15 ft and two going 25 ft into the room? Basic question, will heated air cool faster in a 4" tube at 25 feet or in a 6" at 25 ft?
