Which is the Better Compressor to Buy (10HP, Should Be Able to Produce 30 CFM)

Hi,

Which is the better compressor to buy..our requirement is 10 HP and should get 30 CFM..it should be good and have long service life...Need your valuabe suggestions.

Currently we are looking to buy Ingersoll MODEL : 2545E10. is it worth or do we have any better model

Dear Nani2103,

Your question is not in full, to answer.

What is the Compressed Air Pressure.? not referred by you. You have referred 10 H.P. Actually H.P. SHOULD BE DECIDED ONLY AFTER CONSIDERING THE CAPACITY, AIR PRESSURE. etc.

For Same Capacity and Pressure, A two stage compressor with Inter-Cooler is more efficient than single stage Compressor, and difference in H.P will come in to picture, but will be costlier. Then the Volumetric Efficiency is also an Index for deciding the Compressor.

The details of the compressors of different make to be compared and then only decide, for which you have not given details for the compressors of different make.

When you have decided the model, then where is the question of seeking advise or suggestion.?
