Talk to the person you bought the phone from.

Giving that person a call may be slightly difficult...

These guys always crack me up.

I haven't seen the phone one yet; usually they just "bought" a used laptop, and can't get in.

Did you get the manual when you "bought" the phone?

Steps to remove security code on the Nokia 5130

1. Remove back cover.

2. Remove battery.

3. Soak phone in de-ionized water for 20 minutes. (Important - Do Not Use Tap Water)

4. Dry phone in microwave (1100 watts) on medium for 2 minutes, 30 seconds. (Important - Do Not Use the High setting)

5. Replace battery.

6. Replace back cover.

Guaranteed there will no longer be a security code on your phone.

In "Person of Interest" Finch had an app to calculate the default lock code from IMIE number.

Its an excellently made TV series called "Person of Interest". Finch is the millionaire nerd who made/built the hardware for the US Government.

It is explained at the start of each program.

Or read here:-

The reason for the security codes is to keep a stolen phone from being reactivated and/or the contact info removed from it by the thief...

Have it flashed/wiped or contact the person you got it from....

if they don't have that info.... you may have a stolen phone..
