What is the formula to design 90 degree Taper Drive and Driven Roller?

Regards

The question is meaningless.

(r+l)/r = D/d might be applicable, where:

r = inside radius of conveyor turn (i.e., inboard end of rollers)
l = roller length
D = roller outer end diameter
d = roller inner end diameter

Dear Sir,

What will be the suitable "D" for

r=500mm

l=200mm

OR

I can consider any One of "D" or "d".

and Calculate.

What specifications, I suppose to give Belt manufacturer?

Regards

There isn't just any one answer for this. You can use a few fat rollers or a larger number of thin rollers, and also choose the amount of space between them. This is a matter of designer's choice, with maybe some trial-and-error until a good compromise is found. As a rough guess, maybe D = 35mm, d = 25mm, and 15 rollers could work.

It also depends on how heavy the conveyed product is.

Thanks

I did not understand about 15 Rollers could work.

Is that mean 15 Nos. of rollers?

It will carry only 25gm two to three Pharmaceutical tubes.

What about belt?

Regards.

Sandeep

Sorry, I didn't visualize the belt; I was thinking of "gravity rollers", such as for moving cartons around corners. If it is a belt, you could use just a few rollers, or maybe even slider strips in lieu of rollers.

if this is a roller driven conveyor, then the belt you are referring to, is probably a cord that you can get from Eagle Belting from Fenner Drives........ you may want to get the vulcanizing tool also.

After actually looking at the photo of the curve conveyor........... I don't believe it......

is that an endless belt? you have got to be kidding......

What are you trying to do here?........... on the curve I can see having a modular belt......
