Faster Access to CR4?

I've noticed that connecting to CR4 - both the main site and the PM server - is much faster today. Have changes been made, or is it perhaps because it's Good Friday and there's less business traffic than usual?

No changes. I think the increase in speed is probably related to less traffic (Good Friday is a holiday for some companies), this (I'm noticing a speed improvement on all of the sites I'm visiting), and hopefully a slowdown in the attempted spam registrations we saw earlier this week.

My wife slept in and didn't start her usual online whatever it it is she does that sucks up vast quantities of bandwidth until later in the day.

That may have been why the internet was faster everywhere else.
