M10 Bolt in Tapped Hole With Helical Insert

We need to be fasten a M10 bolt in tapped hole with helical insert. what proceedure to be adopt to fasten a bolt of M10? 1: What size of tape to be drilled? 2: Helical insert size?

These questions can be answered easily by the helical insert manufacturer directly. The answers are most likely inside the box of helical inserts in the form of an instruction leaflet supplied along with them.

If the answers are needed in advance of their arrival, then the telephone is the best tool to use to obtain the information; why so few CR4 posters don't use it before posting their threads remains a source of great mystery.

Heli-Coil has kits for every bolt size with everything you need drill,tap,an insert tool and various lengths of inserts.

If you buy a recoil or helicoil kit it includes the drill, tap and coils

2. Helical insert size?

Make it one size smaller than the bolt...it will fit tighter and be less likely to fall out.
