First: Do you have a question?

Second: Have you even tried the manufacturer's website? https://www.pilz.com/eshop/b2b/publicinit.do?category=A0011B0018&language=en

Read the manual.

Since I've used these, as well as two other company's models that are the same thing with different labeling, my first thought was I agree with you, but since I am a bit curious as to why one would ask the question and not read the manual, I had to do so.

Guess what? The manual has absolutely no indication of what the LED's mean. (I read several PNOZ model manuals to no avail) I suspect the LED codes are on the case of the PNOZ, and if mounted on a backplane in a panel, you'll never be able to read the chart.

I suspect the LED codes are on the case of the PNOZ

That would be my guess also, unless it is not included in a separate application note document downloadable off the manufacturer's website. It has to be listed somewhere.

Unfortunately we are both in error - see my post #6 - I actually found one in stock with manual in my stock parts electrical cabinet and there are no codes for what that means.

Errors....Fault conditions are indicated by flashing the LEDs. Some errors are displayed through periodic flashing (see Table 8-1);with other errors it is possible to establish an error code through the number of flashes(Table 8-2).These errors are always indicated by three short flashes at LED CH.1 or CH.2. After a longer pause, the LED will then flash at one second intervals. The number of LED flashes corresponds to a digit in the error code. The error code can consist of up to 4 digits. The digits are separated by a longer period without flashing. The entire sequence is constantly repeated. The error code can also be read into a PLC via the diagnostic output. In this case the error code will appear as a hexadecimal sequence. The process of reading and transferring data to a PLC is described in the PLC Drivers manual.

From 1.8
POWER flashing......Unknown operating mode, initialisation phase, start not executed...Depending on operating mode: Press reset button or perform start-up test

Okay - I checked my stock and to my surprise, I found I have a spare Pilz PNOZ setting there from some old project. No info on the power LED in the manual or on the case. (they only mention the CH1, CH2 LED's) I know it lights solid when things are good. Sounds like a failure to me. Contact Pilz for help.
