Yes, though it would be easier to measure the distance between the centres of the pins in the chain that passes over it.

What's with the excessive punctuation? It is highly unprofessional.

The number of teeth does not tell the pitch; the center-to-center distance does, and can be measured. In the U.S., the first digits of the sprocket number usually tell the pitch directly, with some "code" involved.

r = radius
n = number of teeth

Rpm is completely irrelevant at this stage.

If you have the sprocket in hand, roll it very hard. Then measure the space between skin punctures.

...then multiply the distance between puncture marks by the difference in radii of the tooth tip radius and the chain centres radius.
