Pressure Vessel

in template of pressure vessel of a skirt support general in drgs a v cut is given on templete as well as gauge plate . why is v cut is there?????????????????

Please look at your drawing as it appears here, notice how unreadable it is, and adjust accordingly. (That might not be easy, because the system here tends to gray out drawings.)
