The most I can say with confidence is that the yellow nozzle is (on the) right (when my screen is oriented so that I can type).

.

There is not enough information otherwise.

.

Is this a pressure vessel?

Where are you/what standards apply?

What is the material? thickness?

.

.

BTW, if this is a pressure vessel and you are either ignoring or for some reason not referencing a standard, that is a bad idea. Right off the bat, I have concerns about the placement of the nozzles near the knuckle region.

It is impossible to tell. There are no indications of size, radius or anything else of use.

Consult the applicable specification.

Consult a local person who has knowledge of the requirements.

Your "drawing" is useless.

If high strength steel, the fillet will be the thickness of the steel. If a pressure vessel, a weld is required on inside and outside of the tank. Blue is the correct one.

Part of the weld on the far right extends beyond the usable limits of reinforcement for nozzles. The blue nozzle is better, but correct calculations must be done.

There may or may not need to be a reinforcement "pad", and there may or may not need to be an internal weld. Not enough data are present to tell.

It is never too early to involve the Engineer/Surveyor from the company that is supplying burst indemnity insurance cover for the vessel, who will have access to standards and a wealth of prior experience to offer. So pick up the phone, today.

you cannot add weld metal instead of using a re-pad. The excess of weld on the yellow nozzle would likely result in distortion. ASME Sec VIII gives you the information you need.
