Instrument Drain

I need a help from you guys, We have a project in offshore where all pressure instrument drain / vent port are connected to drain header with a 1/4 inch tube, let me know why is that connection required.

Why do you think all drains are hooked to a common header?

Back to you. Give this a little thought. Where would they drain otherwise?

Complacency by not connecting the drains properly can have serious consequences, so keep going!

Well, where would the stuff in those lines piddle out to if there were no common drain manifold, then? Does the facility want oil all over the floor (rhetorical question - NNTR)?
