Secondary Super Heater Coil Minimum Temperature

Our Boiler capacity is 125 TPH Working Pressure 65Kg/Cm2 Temp-495 oC Present parameters are Economizer -I/L 148.8 oC And Economizer O/L- 243.6 oC Attemperation I/L-400 oC Attemperation O/L-310 oC Main Steam Temp-495 oC And Attemperation flow 10.0 Tones

My question is what minimum temperature we can maintain in secondary super heater coil

The minimum temperature attainable is the temperature of the saturated steam.

Performance questions need to be addressed to the boiler manufacturer directly.

Dear Mr. nikhil007,

The entire Boiler is designed by the Boiler Manufacturer and the Temp.Rise depends upon the Gas Temp. Heat Transfer Co.Efficient, and Outlet Temp.desired, and a Margin is given which will be minimum and maximum and with in that limit Boiler Performance will be delivered.

Hence as Boiler Operating Staff we have no choice to change any Parameter. Follow the Instruction Manual, for optimum results. If any input parameter is varied, naturally the output will vary.
