So, have you ever done this before?

Are you qualified to do this?

So as not to duplicate effort, where have you looked already?

Have you looked here: Steam System Audit - Donahue Steam

Or here: Audits | How to Audit a Steam System | Sustainable Plant

Or: Energy Audit Procedure for Boiler & Steam Systems D PAWAN ...

Or here: How to Search the Internet - Hannon Library

What records does your company have in the past, I believe audits are done once a year, by an independent inspector.

Records? Records?

A knowledge of records would indicate some knowledge of prior audits.

What we have here with AP/OP is a clean slate.

If it's a clean slate, do not know the location, if in the US, do not know how they got away with it.

If there is no calculation to be done, then Access would be the better tool to use once the protocol has been sorted out.

Please indicate the level of training received to date on boiler auditing.

I guess a boiler audit is like a class audit: you go there and maybe listen, but you take no tests and get no credit.

The people replying to this or any other technical question need to get off your wanna be high horses and answer the questions without trying to tell everyone else how great you are or question the authority if your qualified. If you can't do that, then don't answer anyone. These people are not here for a lecture that your not qualified to give, so stick to the point. Period.

Can I hold your horse for you while someone gets a ladder for you to dismount?
