Nitric Acid Tanker Design

Hi,

I have to calculate shell thickness of nitric acid tanker, at 68%. can any one tell me about applicable design code, recommended design pressure, temperature and C.A ?

what would be requirement of valves and instruments?

Also tell me NHA requirement?

If this is a "nitric acid tanker", one that travels over the roads there is no design opportunity. DOT requires a DOT412, Corrosive Liquid Tanker, here in the USA. There is no other alternative. Check the spec for DOT412 tankers at: :
