Wish to know how to select Mobile phone, just for best Talk quality only consideration?

No camera and extra features needed.

Are there such phones available in market?

Thanks.

First, you should use the computer that is in front of you to research phones in your area.

Don't let other people tell you what you should buy.

In addition to lyn's suggestion regarding the device itself, you might want to review the cellular coverage areas available. Maybe information about % of capacity, plans for coverage improvements.

Also, ask friends and acquaintances about their experience and satisfaction with what they have. One reason I got a pay-as-you-go plan several years ago was that I didn't want to commit to a 2-year contract for a service I didn't know would cover the area I travelled. Most new phones have cameras - once you start using it you may find it quite useful. Same with other features. Now I'm thinking a phone with GPS and some apps could be pretty useful.

nvmani-

In addition to the phone aspects that the previous posters have mentioned and explained well also consider what apps are available for the phone. Several of the handiest ones, at least to me, are electrical, electronics, National Electric Code, plumbing, piping, weather, GPS and maps, my medical (records, contacts, history and medications), flashlight, banking, Mechanical, machining, math and trig., sound meters, and many others that are extremely handy. Most are free and certainly provides up to date information. Certainly saves me carrying numerous books and standards.

One of the best groups of apps. are firefighting to assist me in being a volunteer firefighter. I can see who is responding to an incident on my phone, whether to the firehouse or the scene with updates along with their competency levels. Also available are hydraulic hose pressure losses due to hose and appliance frictions and what the increase in pump pressures should be. It even has the DOT Emergency Response Guide for Haz Mat incidents, the WISER chemical properties program, Material Safety Data Sheets, Evacuation Distances, Incident Preplanning and many others. Best of all, most of these are free or of minimal cost.

If I need to find the tap or body drill bit for a 10-32 machine screw I look at my phone. How to get to Los Angeles from Miami with turn by turn directions, my phone! If I need Internet access, while in the middle of a parking lot, my phone! Solve a quadratic equation, my phone! Text a message, my phone! Send an e-mail while watching a soccer match, my phone! For me at least, the ability to use these apps overshadows the inconvenience of having me readily available to some people.

Chose you phone carefully, get as much as you can get with the same money. It is not just a phone; it can be a great convenience to you if you plan it right.

Good Luck, Old Salt

I like my Samsung Rugby and bought it for talking and not apps also, as I work from my home and use my computer for emails and internet. Got tired of having the battery run out with phones loaded with apps. Hubby has a smart phone, so I didn't want to pay for data plan also, which saves me a minimum of $20 a month. The Rugby is used by the military and is ultra rugged. Only downside to it is the PTS button for walkie-talkie is located on the side of the phone and gets inadvertently pressed, but you just turn off that feature and if it comes up, close the phone and open it again to use it without PTS. I have had mine for about a year and have never run out of juice once! Best phone I've ever had.

I also like Samsung with T-Mobile and the transmission is Digital so voice quality is excellent if you have a good service connection. It is important to have a good service with good coverage in your area otherwise you get dropouts and poor quality reception, so try one at a Smart phone Store to hear the reception and overall sound quality. My phone is low end $100 bucks and no problems and I use speaker phone always. - Stuart

olulised määrajad on oote-ja kõneaeg -- üldiselt on nokia ja samsung parema leviga kui teised (omal ajal sai side üles märjast kuusemetsast -- kilomeetreid tsivilisatsioonist eemalt) /!\ samas võivad ühe ja sama tootja erinevad mudelid oluliselt erineda . . . ? ? ? kus kurat on tõlke nupp . . .
